Countries on Skratch are defined by the UN list of sovereign and observer states. Sovereign states are considered independent nations and are recognized internationally. In parallel, an observer state is an entity that has a permanent invitation to play a role in the UN General Assembly but can’t cast votes on resolutions.
Why do we define countries like this on Skratch?
At Skratch, we remain impartial on the territory status and try our best to stick to the current international guidelines. We are always on the lookout for any status change that might affect any defined country on Skratch.
