What does ‘"Unable to Complete Cellular Plan Change’ mean?

Some iPhone users may experience the following installation error:


If you experience an “Unable to Complete Cellular Plan Change” error, then it could be due to:


  • **Too many eSIMs installed: **Most devices support multiple eSIMs but it could be that you’ve exceeded the number for your device here. If so, you can remove eSIMs from your device as we’ve outlined here.


  • Cellular/Mobile data is disabled: Go to Settings to verify you have cellular/mobile data 


  • eSIM already installed: Confirm you haven’t already installed the eSIM by checking in the “My eSIMs” tab in the Skratch app


  • Poor connection: You need a strong Wi-FI connection to install your eSIM. Try again with a better connection before contacting our support if the issue persists
