How do I turn off or delete an expired eSIM?

Deleting expired or unused eSIMs ensures better device functionality and avoids confusion in cellular settings. 


⚠️ Before you delete an eSIM:


  • Make sure you only delete the eSIM when you are no longer going to use it
  • Save the original QR code or credentials to reinstate it if needed in the future
  • Always ensure the eSIM is not actively in use before deletion to avoid connectivity issues



How to remove on iPhone


  • Go to “Settings” > Tap “Cellular” or “Mobile Service
  • Tap on your eSIM profile > Tap “Delete eSIM
  • Ensure your Primary plan is reactivated for voice line and mobile data



How to remove on Android


  • Open “Settings” > Tap “Network & Internet” or “Connections
  • Tap “SIMs” / “SIM Manager” / “Mobile Network” 
  • Select your eSIM > Tap “Delete” (or similar action)
  • Ensure your Primary plan is reactivated for voice line and mobile data
