Can I rename an eSIM in my device settings?

Yes, most smartphones let you rename your eSIM in the settings menu. This is helpful if you have more than one eSIM (for example, “Work”, “Travel Data”, or the country name) so you can easily tell them apart.

How to rename an eSIM by device

  • iPhone: Go to “Settings” > Tap “Cellular” or “Mobile Service” > Tap your eSIM plan > Edit the plan label
  • Samsung Galaxy: Open “Settings” > Tap “Connections” > Tap “SIM manager” > Select your eSIM and edit the name field
  • Google Pixel: Go to “Settings” > Tap “Network & Internet” > Tap “SIMs” > Select your eSIM and tap Edit to change the name
  • Other Android brands (Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo, etc): Open SIM / Mobile Network settings, select your eSIM, and look for Rename / SIM name / Label. Options may vary slightly by brand.

👉 Tip: Giving your eSIM a clear name makes switching between plans faster, especially if you store multiple eSIMs on one phone
